Introduction to steering cylinder:

Regular maintenance of the steering cylinder includes: regular tightening, steering cylinder fastening screws and gland screws, steering cylinder piston rod stop adjustment screws, should be tightened once a month, tighten each screw evenly, and achieve the corresponding tightening torque. Replace the seal regularly, it is recommended to replace the seal of the steering cylinder once a year. The steering cylinder should be used correctly and maintained regularly. The steering cylinder should be deflated before use, the buffer regulating valve should be adjusted to a reasonable position, the cleanliness of the oil should be checked regularly, the dust on the steering cylinder should be cleaned regularly, and attention should be paid to waterproof and fireproof.

If the steering cylinder slips or crawls, please check whether there is astringency inside the steering cylinder, because the internal parts of the steering cylinder are improperly assembled, the parts are deformed, worn or the shape and position tolerance is excessive, the action resistance is too large, so that the piston speed of the steering cylinder changes with the different stroke position, and the slip or crawl occurs. Most of the reasons are due to poor assembly quality of parts, surface scars or sintered iron filings, so that the resistance increases, the speed decreases. For example, the piston is different from the piston rod or the piston rod is bent, the steering cylinder or the piston rod is offset from the mounting position of the guide rail, and the sealing ring is too tight or too loose. The solution is to repair or adjust, replace damaged parts and remove iron filings.

Repair method of small range wear of oil steering cylinder: 1. Use oxygen-acetylene flame to bake the scratched part (master the temperature, avoid surface annealing), bake the oil on the metal surface all the year round until no sparks splash; 2. The scratched part is treated with an Angle grinder, the grinding depth is more than 1 mm, and the groove is polished along the guide rail, preferably a dovetail groove. Scratch both ends of the drilling deeper, change the force situation; 3. Clean the surface with absorbent cotton dipped in acetone or anhydrous ethanol.
